Lynn Peak

How to get there:
Go past Lynn Canyon Park to the end of the road where you will find Lynn Headwaters Regional Park. Cross the bridge at the start and take the road to your right and continue for about 100 m. At this point look for the sign, Lynn Loop Trail and turn left. Continue on for about 200m where you will see the turnoff for the peak trail.

The trail is 8 km long and should take about 3 to 4 hours to complete. Old growth trees from past loggings are part of the scenery. On a clear day, the views at the individual viewpoints are quite nice. You will be able to get a peek of Mt. Seymour across the valley. Further along you will get to the Blimp lookout. This is a nice place to stop and take a break. As you continue on, you will come across another nice viewpoint of the other side of the valley. On the east side of the trail you can see downtown Vancouver, the Gulf Islands, Grouse Mountain. From here it is another short hike to the peak.
