Lindeman Lake Greendrop Lakes
How to get there:
Take Highway 401 and use the Cultus Lake turnoff. Watch for sign which points to Sardis and turn right onto Chilliwack Lake Road. Continue driving for approximately 38 km, just before you get to the Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park. Parking is available at the Post Creek Campground.
The Lindeman Lake Trail is 4.5 km in length and takes about 2 hours to complete. The distance of the Greendrop Lake Trail is 10 km and takes about 5 hrs to negotiate. The trailhead starts by a small creek. The trail to Lindeman Lake is suitable for people of all ages and only the last segment of the trail is a bit of a grunt before reaching the lake, which offers a few tent sites. The trail continues along the east side of the lake. Looking to the west side of the lake the impressing peaks of The Gargoyles offer a magnificent view. At the far end of the lake, and where you will find a small beach, the trail to Greendrop Lake begins. Watch for the pink markers. Along the way you will come across a few little campgrounds. Both trails are best visited after May and in the fall since the possibility of snow still exists before the month of May. As always, remember weather can change quickly and prepare accordingly.
