Diez Vistas Trail

How to get there:
From Vancouver drive to Port Moody and from there north to Buntzen Lake.

There are several trails at this location. Diez Vistas Trail, which is a 13 km trail and will take about 6 hours to complete, starts at the south end of the last parking lot. The trail signage is rather poor, so take care. After crossing a wooden bridge at the south end of the lake you will get to a power line cut further down the trail. Stay left to continue on the trail. There are a number of switchbacks along the way before you reach the first lookout, which offers a nice view. You will come across several more before you reach the top of the ridge. On a clear day you will be able to see the rocky coastline of Burrard Inlet to Burns point and Vancouver Island.
