BC FERRIES

BC Ferries provides year-round service on 25 routes throughout coastal British Columbia. To get from the Lower Mainland region to Vancouver Island, there are three major routes: Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay (1.5 hrs), Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo (1.5 hrs) and Tsawwassen to Duke Point (2 hrs). The Duke Point-Tsawwassen route is a convenient way for vacationers to return to the United States or the Vancouver airport.
