BC FERRIES
BC Ferries provides year-round service on 25 routes throughout coastal British Columbia. To get from the Lower Mainland region to Vancouver Island, there are three major routes: Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay (1.5 hrs), Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo (1.5 hrs) and Tsawwassen to Duke Point (2 hrs). The Duke Point-Tsawwassen route is a convenient way for vacationers to return to the United States or the Vancouver airport.
WEST COAST LINK
WEST COAST AIR air is continuing its 27 year tradtion of daily scheduled floatplane service between Vancouver and downtown Victoria. BC TRANSIT
TRANSLINK's fleet of nearly 1,000 buses and trolleys criss-crosses the Greater Vancouver area. Sky Train whisks along a scenic 28km guideway from Vancouver to Surrey in just 39 minutes. SeaBus connects Vancouver with the North Shore via a picturesque 12-minute harbour ride.
The Vancouver region has Canada's most extensive public transit system. You'll discover taking transit is fast and convenient, and many routes are so scenic, you'll want to ride just for the fun of it.
